MY LITTLE PONY: EYES AND HOURGLASSES
Chapter I: "Mail Call"
Written by Diane N. Tran
Derpy Hooves was Ponyville's neighbourhood mail-mare. When she was first hired for this job, there was a great deal sniggering all over Cloudsdale for hiring the ridiculous, little cross-eyed pegasus. Luckily for her, looks can be deceiving and, in time, she became the best mail-mare that Ponyville ever had.
Letter by letter, parcel by parcel, she would work her way from one end of town to the other, zipping from house to house, building by building, slipping envelopes into each mail-box and each mail-slot, and waving to each pony she passed by. Through rain, wind, or shine, she was there every morning without fail and one thing she always prided herself on was never being late and, today, she was ahead of schedule. If she kept this up, she might treat herself with muffins at Sugarcube Corner a dozen<
Thor: Loki's LessonsTitle: Loki's LessonsThor: Loki's Lessons4 years ago in Sci-Fi
Spoilers: Somewhat for the live-action film Thor, but only in the respect that, as a prequel, it sets up some things that happen in the film. It's also moderately inspired by the animated film Thor: Tales of Asgard, though it fits more into the live-action film's canon or can be taken as its own continuity.
Summary: Thor, Loki, Sif, and the Warriors Three set out to Vanaheim to slay a giant spider.
Genres/Themes: Hurt/Comfort (Loki as the hurt-ee, with Thor & Fandral as the comforters, as well as Volstagg, Sif, Hogun, Frigga, and Odin, to lesser extents), Brotherhood (Loki/Thor), Action-Adventure (mildly), Character Study (mostly Loki), Angst, Fluff. (Also, potential Loki/Fandral pre-slash it's fairly open to interpretation, though, so you can read it as just a sort of brotherhood/friendship as well. Or you can read more into Thor/Loki -- whatever your tastes. XD)

"The world is a fine place, and worth fighting for."
It was a quiet night across the land. A young boy garbed in green, and riding a brown-coated pony, quietly rode along a cliffside trail. A teenaged girl with natural bronze skin, dressed in purple with a brown cloak over her, walked alongside them. Silent was their stroll, though there seemed to be no set destination in mind. Not a word was exchanged between the two as they walked deeper into the night.
All of a sudden, a light tremor shook the earth, forcing the three to stop where they were. They looked around to try and locate the source of the quake...but felt their eyes gaze heavenward instead. They noticed a frightening sight: the moon, with a rather hideous-looking face, was looking down upon them. And it seemed like it was slowly getting closer to earth by the second. The two looked skyward, and then at each other; they knew what had to be done.
