It was magical, for both of them.
Korra and Asami were on vacation in the spirit world. After the threat of Kuvira, they were entitled for a well-earned rest. Korra knew her friend needed that the most. After the loss of her father, she wanted to make her feel good in any way possible.
Today, on this beautiful morning, they were taking a stroll on rolling hills crowned with trees of multicolored leaves—some were red, others were yellow, some blue, from all of the colors of the rainbow. Asami was beyond impressed and amazed by it. It was a treasure to see her as such for the Avatar.
The spiritual creatures of all sort welcomed them with warming fondness. Korra introduced them to Asami. This one looked like a child tasting candy for the first time. She was happy. Happiness embedded onto her friend’s face. And that happiness infected her.

A story, a legend
Where things start a new
Some days, we’re lost
And we sometimes loose the way

Korrasami. I guess meaning that they held hands and went into the spirit world alone and having the series end on them staring at each other officially makes them a bisexual couple. If that's the case, then I was wrong the whole time and Bryke actually bloody did it. So what do I think of it? It did feel a little contrived and rushed to be crammed into the last minute of the series, but then again. It's already been heavily implied for the past two seasons with their screentime, and fact is that Korra and Asami did have a much stronger and developed relationship with each other than the ones they've had with Mako and/or Bolin, so from there I can really see why people thought was likely to happen. No, I still don't like Korrasami, and I still don't ship it. I still felt they were better in a platonic relationship (and I also still prefer Makorra over Korrasami), but you know what? If it's canon, then I can't do anything

and complete at the same time
kudos to Mike and Bryan for heavily hinting a lesbian pairing and not going with the norm when they could have easily gone for Mako and Korra
and also for making a series with amazing lead female characters, who kicked ass, worked hard, stood up for what they believe in, and making a series that will always hold a place in my heart.
I can't believe it's over.
and here's an awesome review from someone that you should read it's so worth it.
“Endings reveal a lot about the overarching ideas of a piece, and by finishing with Korra and Asami, the writers establish that The Legend Of Korra is a story about women first and foremost. It’s a series about how women relate to each other as friends, family, and rivals in romance and politics, an idea has became especially prominent in Book Three. Before that, there was much more emphasis on Korra’s connections with the men in her life: her father-daughter dynamic with Tenzin, her romanti
