Why did I do this to myself?
I could've just dropped out in the first round, and then I could just play Dark Souls and Dragon Age all day. I would have absolutely no responsibility to a hobby I'm never satisfied with.
I truly am stupid.
Idlewild and Other StuffSo Last Saturday I took my old man and our five kids to Idlewild. For those of you unfamiliar with Idlewild, it's an amusement park with a complete water park attached. It was a blast and we didn't have any problems, well I did get run off the road by a toothless old drunk and threatened to be dismembered. LoL. I haven't been writing at all I just don't have the desire too, I think I'm too busy really. I have been doing a lot of reading and I'm in need of new material; so if anyone has read any good paranormal books let me know what they are. I prefer series but will read stand alone books as well. I would stay and write more and let everyone know what's been going on in my life but I just don't have the time. I have to get my ass up on the couch and get laundry done and clean this house up before I head back to work. I miss talking to all of you and I promise I will eventually read all the deviations that are piling up in my inbox. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll stop back inIdlewild and Other Stuff11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Be still my beating heartWhen I was young, I knew everything and now I've been badBe still my beating heart1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
[and] who knows how long I've been awake now;
you got me so wild, [so] don't move, stay right where you are.
I'm a fountain of blood, green hours [and] blue rope
[and]I don't want you hear you got a boyfriend
(because) one of these days the sky's gonna fall,
sea lion woman,
in the land of goods and monsters,
[just] get your back against the wall.
Happiness [will] hit you like a train on a track
(and) you'll say I smell like safety and home;
it's like I'm a drug;
[so] never let me go.
Just drink the wine [and] make a wish, girl,
[because] love is just a history that they may prove;
oh, it's written in the stars;
[and] I can lift you up, [but] gravity is working against me.
[Even] King Saul fell on his sword when it all went wrong,
struck by lightning [with] a plain gold ring on his finger;
who'll be my Montague now?
You're like a 90s Jesus;
sly as a fox,
you took my heart and you held it in your mouth.
