The sun peeked out over the dark horizon and rose into the sky, bathing the town in the light of dawn. It flooded in through a window of the bedroom of a humanoid creature. This creature’s skin seemed to be made, or covered by, a black, leather like material; the ‘skin’ had silver zippers all over its surface, making lines all over the creature’s body; it was Zippers.
Zippers yawned and looked out the window at the slowly brightening light and got up from his bed. He picked up his belt with the pouches for supplies attached to it and put it on. Walking out of his bedroom, Zippers wondered what he would do today.
He opened the front door of his small home and looked outside at the street. Zippers didn’t have anything in particular planned today, so he hoped that maybe he could find a friend or two to hang out with. Looking up and down the road, there didn’t seem to be anyone out.

Thomas, a young boy of the age 12 in Britain in the late 1800's, does what all boys his age love to do, exploring in the woods near his home. What Thomas loved more then exploring the woods was to listen to his great grandmother's stories about this crazy world filled with weird creatures but she has always warned him to stay away from any weird rabbit holes for whatever that means countless number of times. One time when Thomas decided to run through the woods with his friends by playing some hide and seek, he somehow got himself deep in the forest trying to hide from "It" and got himself lost. Thomas shouts "Can Anyone hear me!" but he gets no reply other than the echo of his own voice. after searching for what seems like hours sense the sky was beginning to turn orange, he thought he heard something in the bushes.
