The Birth of a PrincessScreams echoed throughout the halls of the castle. Not just any screams either, they were HER screams, and there was nothing I could do to stop them from coming. There was nothing I could do to comfort her, not at all, when all I really wanted was to be by her side, holding her hand during these few amazing moments of our lives. I turned to the door, where not only a maid, but three guards stood to make sure I didn't get past the doors. "Please, just let me in for a moment, it won't be long" I pleaded, but nothing worked.
Another scream of my name came through the doors.
"I'm sorry your highness, but there is nothing we can do for you. Our instructions were to keep you stationed out here in case something goes wrong" stated the maid, having no compassion for either of us during this stressful time.
"Wait if something goes wrong? What is that supposed to mean?"
