Better than OneMike cradled the cube-like package in coat-covered arms, a malicious grin on his face as he headed up the walkway, blue eyes dancing and breath condensing in front of him. He took great pains not to let his shoes crunch on the snow under his feet, as he tiptoed up the steps and tenderly sat the package at the base of the front door.Better than One8 years ago in Fantasy
He had seen it---the dragons that Sean doodled in his notebook, on the backs of his tests, and how he answered with ease his affinity for the strange creatures. When he heard of a costume shop opening nearby, he couldnt resist the opportunity to play a harmless prank on the guy. It entertained him so to do something to Sean just for the sake of seeing the confusion written all over his friends face. Oh yes, this would be something to remember.
The man operating the store seemed nice and kind enough, and definitely excelled at what he did; that much was obvious. What was slightly confusing was the way the shop owners eyes seemed to glimmer
His New Moon [Dragon TF]I could understand Mandarin well enough to get me where I wanted to go in Shanghai, but communication was a far different beast in a province a thousand miles away from what one might say resembles modern civilization. His movements were slow and sluggish, as though he was doing the movements underwater, but one could easily tell that he was doing a combat routine, a series of reaction drills done with weights to increase his muscular capacity, as well as his endurance and fighting skills. After only a few minutes, he paused, feeling his heart beating as if it was trying to burst out of his chest.
