Darkness has fallen in the midst of emptiness;
The silhouette glow seemed so vague in disgrace,
The light was lost across the distant memories.
Shall I go back to sleep and wait for the day,
Beneath the dark horizon stretching the bay?
Or vigil the whole night as the moon fades away,
While the sun hides its happy face in May?
Sometimes I wonder why darkness has to come,
When life is so colorful in its daytime;
The mountain ranges in glitter and gleam,
Lovely groves, gorgeous gardens on the plain.
But time has to go on continuously,
The world was created in its natural way;
The sun has to shine tremendously,
Until the twilight spread in mystery.
When I gaze longingly at the pale moonlight,
My restless mind submits from a great fight;
I need to slumber to take a new start,
To face tomorrow’s challenge with all my might.
Another night has reached its end to go,
The dawn is breaking in cool breeze below,
Waking faces in touch of morning dew,
