On the day of the wedding I woke up with a severe case of
anxiety. While the party last night had been fun, I still
wished I could have slept with Draco afterwards. But the
others insisted that we go by the old wedding tradition
of not seeing the “bride” until the actual wedding. So
for two whole days I missed him terribly.
Thankfully I hadn’t drunk much last night and only woke
up with a slight hangover which I could easily banish
with a simple pain relieving potion. Once that was done,
I got dressed and spent nearly an hour trying to make
my hair lay flat. But it was hopeless. It was always
going to stick up in all directions.
Merlin, please don’t let the baby have my hair,
I found myself thinking with a smile. Finally I gave
up and grabbed my suit before disapparating to Malfoy

The Weasleys were all absolutely giddy with joy when Harry
and I went to inform them of our decision to marry and why.
I saw a couple of the men clap Harry on the back while Mrs.
Weasley pressed a large jug of ginger tea into my hands.
“It helps with the morning sickness, dear,” she said with
a warm smile.
Harry and I had also decided to have the wedding at the end
of the month. Secretly I wanted it when I wasn’t going to
be showing too much. I remembered the months when I was
carrying Abigail, how self conscious I felt looking at my
swollen belly in the mirror every morning. It always
looked out of place, and I wanted to still look like
myself at the wedding.
It became a rather frenzied month then. Mother and Mrs.
Weasley worked hard together on the plans, while Father
pulled out all the stops and paid for everything. Ron,
