I recall an event when I was young
when I lived near Asgard's golden citadel.
I remember the Allfather's offer
to watch a small play of nature's evils.
I remember the dance of swaying grass
as the wind blew on the Plain of Ida.
I remember the blue sky bleeding heat
as the summer sun hung above our camp.
And as Sköll began his eight hour of chase
our camp was greeted by a bilgesnipe herd,
about twenty in total it appeared.
They had come for their daily grazing time.
They reminded me of Midgard's elephants,
While a fierce breeze failed on their scaly hides.
They slowly moved to trail each patch of grass
As their lumbering mouths did not hesitate.
They wore the antlers of the Midgard elk
but they were forged as hard as Fenrir's chains.
I only gazed with awe at their old crowns
just like the youngest who waited for theirs.
It was not long before the hunter came.

His Companion Ch. 28 Loki x ReaderLoki's grip around you was even stronger than Thor's had been, a feat seemingly unlikely but true. Feeling completely secure, you dared to open your eyes. Every colour imaginable streamed by as you traveled back to Heimdall in the observatory on Asgard. Again, as quickly as it began, it ended. Loki adjusted his stance in order to keep you from falling down, and your brain needed a moment to process the experience.
"Welcome home, Lady __," said Heimdall, kindness present in his beautiful golden eyes.
"Has anyone asked after us, Heimdall?" Loki needed to know where he should take you first, assuming that it would be to your family home. However, Odin, as the Allfather, would take precedence if he had requested notification of their return.
"No, Loki. No one but us three know you have retur

Hearing the voice, the young man still abed decided to ignore it. He had no desire to be awake and even less to participate in whatever insane idea had excited the owner of that voice. He had been on too many 'adventures' in the past month and was tired of them.
The cry came again and it was much closer, much louder than before. "For the love of all the realms, will you learn to be quiet?" the young man grumbled, shoving his head under the pillow.
It was a futile attempt at peace since the doors to his chambers banged open seconds later, the gilded metal slamming into the walls with resonating booms. "You still sleep, Brother? While the day is already well under way?" the voice asked heartily.
"No one could sleep through an entrance like that," he groaned.
"You didn't answer. I thought you still asleep and here you are in bed."
"Maybe I wanted to stay in bed."
His brother laughed richly, plunking down on the bed. "The day is wasting, Loki. You must rise!"

A New Life: LokixReader Chapter 25You haven’t slept that well in a long time. You didn’t want it to end. You felt so comfy that moving almost seemed like torture. You heard the sound of a thunderous engine from a large vehicle driving by your house. The loud revving woke you from your dreams and you scrunched your eyes tighter, whining a little in the back of your throat. You didn’t want to wake up yet.A New Life: LokixReader Chapter 252 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
“Shh, [Name]. Stay in slumber.” You heard a gentle voice mumble as a hand was closed over your ears, trying to block out the sound of the cars outside.
Right, the construction workers must be here to fix the lab. You appreciated the cold hand that slightly muffled the noise from outside. You buried your face into the fabric in front of you. You tilted your head slightly and were surprised to feel skin against your face. Wait. Isn’t this Loki’s back? You slightly opened your sleepy eyes only for them to widen in shock. Your head was comfortably placed under Loki
