I let myself fall in the sofa of the living room. It’s been a while since I made myself comfortable here. I close my eyes for a few seconds and finally fall asleep…
~I am sitting under a window. I am holding a book in both my hands and the light of the sun that illuminates through the window brighten the beige pages. The paper is kind of thick and rasping, just like other very old books. I have a heap of five others at my side. I lay my eyes down on the words and see it’s written in an ancient Icelandic. Though I shouldn’t know a word in this language, I read it as easily as it would be my mother language. I stroke the rough page with my forefinger before I turn it. The book is about wizardry. I normally know nothing about these things, but still it seems I understand the formulas and spells. It feels like I am able to execute them in the next minute. I continue reading and I understand every word. But then, I hear a distant noise. It is repetiti

I can’t sleep. It’s almost 3 a.m. and I can’t even close my eyes for a minute. I am so used to Midgardian sheets that I can’t get use to the Asgardian ones again. It’s like they are smothering me. There’s too much silk and too much layers of sheets. I can’t stand them anymore. I am used to thin covers Sigyn and I used to overlay ourselves when it the weather was hot. I am also used to those “thick” blankets we had on winter nights. Midgardian covers satisfied me somehow, even though I don’t need a cover due to my icy body. Still, I love the touch of the fabric on my skin and it feels so soft.
But then, I think of her. I can clearly remember our cozy and serene laziness, just the two of us, in those soft sheets. I can remind her sweet smile with her gaze meeting mine. I can almost sense the touch of her hand on my pale skin. Some days she had those cute little curls in her hair and when she lied next to me, t

Chapter 12: Humbled
When Loki finally looked up from his hands, he glanced out the ship's window and saw that he was no longer on Asgard. He wiped away the tears which had wet his face, then opened the door. He was back home! He assumed to have accidentally hit the red button in his distress.
But he was very worried as he stepped out of the ship, wearing his green, black, and gold princely attire. His leather boots smashed the grass beneath him. He held his hands nervously, wondering if he should just go back into the ship and fly somewhere far away.
He saw Dandy fly by and smiled at him a bit, with a sheepish wave of his hand.
Dandy sensed movement and turned to see the source, his eyes widened and he zoomed away from him in a flash.
Loki felt his heart sink, Dandy was usually so friendly. He must hate him now...
Loki sighed and leaned against the ship, unable to cry anymore. He only looked down at his boots in shame.
He heard a murmuring of voices a few minutes later and looke

You didn’t answer and the look in your eyes betrayed you. Loki knew that, deep down, you saw him as a monster. And you couldn’t fight that.
“So that’s how you see me” he said, disappointed.
“No. I didn’t say that”
“You didn’t have to” he said, coming closer to the cell shield.
You swallowed hard and realized he is not so wrong. You couldn’t believe you just thought of it. He looked frustrated, or even angry. He looked at you with eyes that could shoot bullets. You stared at him just the same before you said:
“Loki… Do you know why I’m here?”
“You’re here to mock me. To face the monster like you always wished to. You’re here to confront the murderer of those you loved”
“I…” you almost moaned.
“I know it’s true”
You were uncovered. You didn’t even try to fight back. It was pointless. Instead,

Chapter 11: The boy who forgot
Years passed, and the boy was now nearly a man, only a few years shy of being so. He was tall in stature, and not quite so meek and sweet as his mother Rosalina had taught him to be. Blinded by the fame and fortune, maybe, but his curiosity lingered still. He needed to know who he was.
There came a day when he finally had the courage to ask his "birth" parents a question that had been plaguing his mind since he was just a toddler in the field.
"Frigga?" He asked, having never gotten used to calling her mother.
"Yes Loki?" She replied, as they walked through the palace halls together. She was on her way to see her husband.
"Since as long as I could remember, my fingers or toes would sometimes turn blue, and I was wondering why..."
Her face blanched before he could even finish his question. "Y-Your father is in the throne room. He can answer you." Frigga said, and briskly walked off.
Loki took her advice, and when Odin saw the determined look on his

Chapter 13: Raining Regret
Small drops of rain water splattered against the roof of the wooden tree house and a rumble of thunder in the distance began the ripple of lucidity within you. The croaking frogs and echo of squawking birds carried you the rest of the way. You rubbed your eyes then slowly moved away from Loki, a little embarrassed that you had slept that way the entire night. You took a deep breath and sighed, then truly looked at Loki for the first time that morning. He was peaceful as he slept, with a piece of his soft black hair fallen over his face sweetly. You smiled gently, and held his hand. You felt a warm stirring within your chest as you did so, but felt shy when you saw him awake, and pulled away.
"Good morning Loki." You said nervously as he sat upright.
"Good morning." He said sleepily and yawned quietly.
As he changed positions you could see a moving creature on his shoulder. You narrowed your eyes and waited to get a better look at it. It was a snake. Wi
The Memory Game - Chapter 8: EvanescentI leave the apartment very quickly. I walk to the spot where I am meeting Thor: in front of the Whitney Museum of American Art. I walk for thirty minutes and arrive there. Thor is already there waiting for me. “I can’t believe you’re thanking me, brother. It’s so unlike you” he says after he shouts for Heimdall to open the gate.
“I’ve changed, Thor” I tell him.
We travel in a matter of seconds before we arrive in Asgard. Heimdall welcomes us –more like welcoming Thor- and frowns as he sees me.
“My lord, you didn’t tell me you were bringing this coward here again”
“Have care of how you speak, Heimdall. Loki is no coward and he is my brother, he deserves a chance. Let me speak to the All-father”
“Right, my lord”
Thor winks at me and leaves me with Heimdall. He is going to talk with Odin to have him accept me in Asgard.
Travellers - Chapter 1The streets of Shanghai were lit by the street lights, giving it an orange hue. Loki didn’t even know if he could trust this so-called ‘caretakers’ to protect the girl. Yet, they seemed to be the only other option to dying at the hands of the Enforcement. Maybe live another day or dying within seconds. He took the next turn, looking out for any suspicious shadows. As a half-god, he could detect their common enemy. But so far, there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Loki didn’t like that. They were up to something. They knew where they were and what they planned. He looked over to the passenger seat. His underage companion was soundly sleeping, unaware of the storm brewing up in his mind. He was always on the edge, because being a god didn’t necessarily mean to be immortal. Some were, however, he was no such lucky bastard. He wasn’t vulnerable or defenceless
