The Hunt for Aloy
Hunter crawled through the snow without a sound. He was experienced in that, otherwise he wouldn't be deemed worthy of leading his group against one of the biggest threats to Eclipse. The threat that has recently raided one of their outposts and was now heading to the snow-covered mountains. He wasn't the first one to be sent after her, hunter knew. Many tried and many failed to capture her, because the legendary Nora huntress was cunning in battle and armed with a variety of gadgets and weapons salvaged from machines. He didn't worry for himself because he too was known for his tricks and resourcefulness, but the thick-headed brutes who were sent to «accompany» him definitely were a problem. Too eager to fight, too impatient, they were more fit for pit fights than ever. 'But I guess there is a good reason for it' he thought, stroking the stock of his new weapon. It was truly a beautiful weapon: intricate metal dart caster, which was recovered from a curious old machine. Repairing it took some time, but was absolutely worth it: this thing could launch projectiles almost silently and at a good distance. Hunter knew that his accomplices' true objective was to stop him from running off with this weapon. These concerns were pointless, however, as he wanted to try it out more than anyone else, and there was no better target than Aloy, the illusive thorn in Eclipse's side for weeks. They approached the rocky ridge staying under cover of snowy hail. Intel suggested that Aloy possessed a Focus, so their best option would be to ambush her. Focus would allow her to see them even through the obscuring blizzard, if given enough time. Leading hunter ordered the pair of warriors to cover his flanks while he moved forward and prepared the dart launcher. He loaded several red-tufted ones, filled with a sedative strong enough to fell an average human. These were collected from corrupted hunting machines and were waiting to be used for a long time. Having finished preparations, he ordered to move forward. He saw movement before him and instinctively ducked. An arrow whizzed past and impacted a tree near where other ambushers were hiding. 'So much for the element of surprise' he mumbled, as the armored fighters ran up forward raising a battle cry. They were in a icy forest now, and conditions are not exactly in their favor. That huntress had plenty of places to hide and a lot of attack angles. Hunter's racing thoughts were cut short when he heard one of his comrades scream in pain. A quick glance from his cover revealed him twitching on the ground as strings of wire entangled surroundings trees. 'She has prepared traps! That's a turn for the worse, I wonder how she knew...' Sound of battle reached him suddenly and he moved to a better position. He realised now that the second Eclipse warrior has leapt over a fallen tree trunk Aloy used as cover and they were currently engaged in melee. Hunter seized this opportunity to get closer to them, making sure to avoid the traps laid in between the rocks and tress. By the time he got there the fight had come to an end: Aloy was standing over a barely alive cultsit, threatening with her spear. - - - - - “For how long have you been following me?” Aloy shouted at the defeated man in front of her, pointing a spear directly at his neck. “You've been a problem for a long time now,” the wounded man said “If it's not us than someone else will deal with you”. Aloy grinned “What are you waiting for, then? Take you weapon and try”. She knew she could kill him right now, but Eclipse needs to get her message. The message being 'Don't come after me' written in words of their defeated warriors returned to the camp in binds. It's strange that they sent only two men, though. Usually the scouting party consists of three- “Actually, I've been waiting for him to get closer” laughed the cultist, staring somewhere behind her. She heard a metallic click and a hiss of air. Aloy instantly turned just in time to feel something small stab her in the chest. She looked down and noticed a strange dart lodged in her left breast. Suddenly, her head swam and her left arm felt numb and heavy.“Urghhh...” she let out a weak sound as her knees buckled and vision went cloudy. Aloy supported herself on her arms, trying to stand up and failing. Every second she felt her body get weaker and weaker. Then she felt another sting at the base of her neck. It didn't hurt, instead it only made her feel better, dreamier and relaxed. Her arms failing, she toppled to the side and let out a moan. She barely felt strong hands pick her up and caress her round ass. She could only think about how light she felt. Perhaps taking a nap would be good, really good now. Last thing she felt was being slung over something and being gently rocked as the image of winter forest drifted away from her vision. Her eyes fluttered and shut with her giving a soft moan of defeat. Hunters knew they were lucky today, both Aloy and glory of defeating her in their hands.
