Took some pictures today of my newest additions to my growing coyote collection.
Ivor is a "moonlight" coyote l traded my lynx pelt with SkinnedWulf
for. Moonlight coyotes are coyotes that are dye to get them to have a "white wolf" color to them. This fellow has some pretty nice and dense fur that I just love. He does have everything to be mountable because because he's a garment tan, its a risky move. I'm going to see how his leather soaks up and holds, I would love to mount this fellow for lifesize, it just would make a stunning mount.
Rogue is a coydog I purchased from the same trapper I got Zen from. I normally don't include photos of the animals alive but because she's debately, I've included them. Her dog like features include curled ears, blue eyes, a strange "red stripe" (Possible rub spot or broken guard hairs?) and a possible change in skull shape that has dog like qualities in them. She was a very old and tough gal from what the pelt and skull told me. Her skull had several missing incisiors, premolars and worn canine teeth as well as a BB lodge inbeteen her eyes. She also has a lot of grey hairs in her fur that also adds to my theory she was an old dog. She going to be lifesize after my red coyote, keep everything exactly like she was alive.Disclaimer:
I did NOT kill these animals. I had purchased one of the animals as raw skin while the other I obtained through a trade. I have respect for all the animal parts I get my hands on and let nothing go to waste on them. If you don't like it, then simply hit the back button.
Laslty, the last four photos I DID NOT take, they belong to the trapper and merely use them to so what she looked like alive.
