Well now, this was an adventure and a half. I don't want to boast or anything . . .
FUCK TO THE YES, I RULE!!!
I followed the instructions set by Gaaras-Chocolate,
so in respect of her work I shall not post the rules, however there is a link below and I shall post I couple of hints you may find helpful if you want to make one yourself.
Step 2 - Ensure that the base of the scythe is longer than you need. Remember you can always trim some away if it's too long. Use a scalpel blade to cut the scythe out; if you're under eighteen you will need your parent/guardian to buy the blade on your behalf (I don't advocate underage buying).
Step 3 - Don't be tempted to skip the painting by thinking, 'Oh it shall be covered by the hair extensions anyway, so it doesn't matter. Trust me, it does! Ensure the scythe is fully painted and dry before attempting to fix it into place.
Step 5/6 - If the scythe continues to flop check to see if there are any gaps between the scythe and the wig. If so, seal up the spaces by sticking the gaps to the base of the board with super glue. But don't stick your fingers together to to the wig!
Step 11 - Use a paintbrush to slather the glue onto the scythe instead of your fingers, so to avoid glue dripping onto the wig itself.
Finally, don't worry if the hair extensions, once attached to the scythe, don't lie neatly. Remember, Dib is a very active young man and gets himself into a lot of scrapes - his hair isn't going to stay neat for long!
