Maestro

For the Ocarina of Time Fanart Contest.

I took the Tout Le Monde approach to this--no sketch, just a blank canvas, and I went from there. No layers, no fancy filters, no fancy masks. A little color adjusting and bright/contrast balancing as I went along.

I had tried doing a sketch this time, I really really did, but I found that in the past my finished products never look like my sketches. I know this is normal, but whatever. I'm pushing the deadline as it is, right?

Again, if I could, I'd just keep painting on and on and on. The composition is poop, and the layout defies the idea of "widescreen". I know all these things already.

But I put my soul into this one, despite the deadline.

The original version's dimensions are 6300 x 3600, 300 dpi. Please, if you can, download the original full-size image (100 dpi). I rezised the full-view down to 1600 pixels wide--as opposed to its 2100 pixels.

I'm just glad that I've got Painter X now. I missed that program when I went all-Mac a month or so ago.
