I never had the chance to draw sea ponies before, and come to think of it, that's a very sad realization. I have always enjoyed seahorses, and the legend of the kelpies, and the concept of sea ponies as a result of that, which makes me really sad that we haven't had any actual sea ponies in Friendship is Magic yet. The Dazzlings from Rainbow Rocks were a neat hint at possible future monsters, and Cassie the Kelpie from the official comics had a really interesting design, so there might be an intention to bring them aquatic equines back into the world of Equestria.

Wishful thinking, I know. Sometimes not even I am immune to it.
