Description

So *Windmaedchen introduced me to a fabulously addictive webcomic called Death and the Maiden. The art isn't really my cup of tea, and the story takes a bit of time to get going, but regardless I am head-over-heels in love with it. : D

Sadly, nothing like this has happened (Yet), but hey, that doesn't stop me from being a hopeless romantic, right?

Oh, thanks Skella for getting me hooked on this. BT I went to dig it up and just couldn't put it down. Especially Part 2! Some great complexity going on! Now, as far as this piece of art goes I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. And I'm not just saying that because I'm addicted to the comic. XD You really have a knack for working with warm colors and feels. Just look at this! The soft yellow and red glow casted on them really makes this all the more romantic. The anatomy is just perfect. Death's hand playing with her hair in particular is not only well done but gives this that sensitive touch that you know he's hiding throughout the whole series. XD Death's eyes highlighted a bit to stand out from the darkness of his cape was a great touch too. I have nothing but praise for this. You even got her slightly messed up teeth! Now that's some good attention. I love this so much. One of your best, for sure. <33333
