Well here it is. I spent 6 painting classes working on this. That's about 18 hours. I was going for something really realistic but then decided, it can be a bunch of paint blobs that represent Buffy. Any more realistic then it wouldn't be a painting.
It's an oil painting, and once again tried to get a decent shot of it. But this is as close to what it really looks like, that the camera could take. Then I had to push it a bit further in photoshop by adjusting the colours to make it look even closer to the real thing. But still the real colours are a bit more intense. But this shot is as good as it can get. I'm also getting use to my drawing tablet, I drew in my signature on the bottom
I forgot to acturally write it on the canvas before I took the shot.
Anyway this is just recreating the comic cover of issue 53, I think. It was good picture to use because you can see how they did it, teacher said it shows you how to paint. It doesn't look much like the picture but it still looks like Buffy, a bit. Maybe a bit lobsided. There's still something wrong with her head.
Well I'm not gonna bore you with the details of it. The other figure to the side I think is Pike. I say that because the comic was about Buffy's adventures with Pike before Sunnydale.
For those who don't know much about Buffy history, there was man in her life before Spike, before Angel, and he was Pike. Even though he's never mentioned at all in the tv series he does come back a few times in the comics.
