Okay, throw whatever you want at me for not updating earlier! Really sorry about that (I know a sorry isn't going to cut it, but I just wanted to say it anyway).
SPOILER ALERT: there is a spoiler in this chapter, and in the A/N at the end. Sorry... *ducks to avoid a bombardment of pineapples, tomatoes, books, computer keyboards and desks* If you haven't read or seen the first book or movie, just skip from the @ and start reading from the @ again. There are three spoiler sections (all very short, about one or two sentences each) so the start of the first spoiler would look like (=1 start) and the end of the spoiler would be (=1 end). The second spoiler sentence would be (*2 start), so on and so forth.
Okay, here's the next chapter *groans of FINALLY erupts everywhere*. ENJOOOYY

The Hunger Games: Catching FireYes, they changed a few things (and had to in order to not have to explain a few things they left out of the first movie) but they stayed far more true to the novel than they did in the first movie. I was impressed. I loved Johanna, the way the actress played the part was spot on (she had a few lines that certainly were not in the novel, but they fit, so that didn't hurt anything at all). They left out a part I really wanted to see, just to see it -- Plutarch's watch with the mockingjay hologram in it. It was just a really good movie in a lot of ways. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire6 hours ago in Personal Journal More Like This
I hope they can continue on this path with Mockingjay.
And Jennifer Lawerence's performance in the elevator when Johanna stripped down XD Perfect!! LOL Of course, so was Haymitch's reaction.

Well people today my list of boring movies just got a new addition: the overblown, the overly long, The Hunger Games. Whoopee.
Here’s the plot in a nutshell:
Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete.
You want to know how boring this is? I zoned out at least three times to walk outside. And it turned out more productive then the film itself. Okay let’s get this over with. To the acting…away!
You remember how superb and amazing Jennifer Lawrence was in Silver Linings Playbook and Winter’s Bone? Yeah she’s nothing like that in this film, while she has brief genuine moments, throughout 96% of the movie she’s completely boring as Katniss. I didn’t connect to her character at all. Even her beauty isn’t used well. For most of the movie she makes a “I’m mad at you
