Wheann was limping and Borax had a hand pressed to his side. The men who had gone along with them didn’t appear to be much better off. Worse even, there were fewer of them than had left the camp. “Looks like I lost this bet. Barely,” he heard Jeredan say. His lightheartedness did little to ease Llorrin’s nerves.
