Holding back my excitement, which was bursting out me, I ran up to my bedroom, reaching for a rather large brown cardboard box. I opened it, revealing a large, dark blue dragon costume, complete with wings, a tail and even digitigrade feet. It had a gorgeous, dark blue color, with a yellow underbelly which was also the color of the membranes in the wings. I smiled, admiring the craftsmanship of the costume. It was a so realistic, even down to finest details such as the scales on the costume, which each shone with a certain degree of potency in the light. It was sure to win in tonight's costume party.
I had paid an arm and a leg for this, hiding it from my family, especially my sister, so that they wouldn't spoil the surprise by doing something stupid like telling it to people
