No one could accuse Zoey of any kind of false modesty, or regular modesty, for that matter. The young lightning mage was perhaps one of the most self-assured people you could ever meet, And that quickly turned into cockiness. Her current situation was an example of that, in fact. Away from prying eyes, the mages of Chicago would meet and consult each other on various issues. Or, they would challenge each other to duels. This could be for a variety of reasons. Whether for them to hone their skills, to prepare themselves for the numerous threats against them that they faced on a regular basis, or for the sheer challenge that came from fighting another Mage. For Zoey, it was all about the enjoyment of beating others. There was nothing quite like finding someone who took one look at the nineteen year old and challenging them to a fight that they were confident they could win. On the outside, they certainly had reason for such confidence. Zoey was a looker, with a body that showed that she worked out and took great care of herself. Her black hair was pulled back, showing her electric blue eyes that indicated the source of her magic, that being electric. Many simply took one look at Zoey and dismissed her as a pretty face with a cocky attitude. Their subsequent defeats had been down to such arrogance, but also Zoey having the skills to take advantage of them as well. She had earned her reputation as a fighter, albeit one that many really wanted to take down. Zoey enjoyed the thought that she had a target on her back. What better sign of strength was there, than people trying to claim your crown, after all? Plus, you got a good few trinkets from the mages you did defeat, as many were happy to wager something in order to get their hands on her in the hopes of defeating her in battle. Right now though, Zoey was the one doing the challenging. She had heard of a Mexican mage having just arrived in Chicago and he had apparently gotten his hands on the Rings of Xolotl, the Aztec God of lightning and fire. They were said to be able to amplify the abilities of a lightning mage tenfold, a prize that Zoey was eager to get her hands on to become even more powerful. The mage had taken up quarters in a penthouse in one of Chicago’s more exclusive areas, the top floor, in fact. The long trek up there only made Zoey grow more excited, thinking of what she could do once she had her hands on those rings. She had long reached the point where she felt that she was unbeatable and this would only cement that. Finding the door to the mage’s apartment, Zoey hammered on it impatiently, knocking so hard that there was no chance that he wouldn’t be able to hear it. It was only a short time before the door was opened and Zoey blazed on through without a second thought. “About time! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting?” The mage at the door gave Zoey a blank stare for a second, before he closed it behind her. “Apparently not long enough.” He said with a smirk. “Too long.” Zoey went on, ignoring his tone. “Anyway, my name’s…” “Zoey Martinez, lightning mage and one of the more infamous magical users around.” The interruption made Zoey turn with a glare, she didn’t like being spoken over and that guy had done just that. Still, he wasn’t all that bad looking. He looked to be about five years older than Zoey herself, with handsome features and a suit that looked like it had come off the rack of one of the more expensive stores in the city. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail, helping the man look youthful. “Well, at least I’m known.” Zoey shot back. “I don’t even know who you are.” “Miguel Aceveda.” Was the reply, Miguel offering a bow of his head. “And I think I can guess why you’re here.” “The Rings of Xolotl.” Zoey agreed, holding out a hand. “Give them to me now, and we can skip the part where I humiliate you.” Miguel seemed more amused than insulted by Zoey’s words, raising an eyebrow at them. “You humiliate me? But you don’t even know what I can do.” “Like I need to.” Zoey scoffed. “I’ve handled plenty of tough opponents. You don’t measure up to half of them.” “I don’t?” Once again, Miguel was apparently amused by what Zoey was saying. He remained completely relaxed as well, which irked Zoey. “Look at you. Another rich mage who probably bought the rings. It doesn’t matter what you specialise in. Fire, water, anything else, you don’t stand a chance against me.” Miguel took the insults in his stride, although there was an edge to his expression that hadn't been there before. “I beg to differ, Zoey. Now, you might have the people here battered and bruised, but I assure you that you don’t stand a chance against me. I suggest you leave before I teach you a lesson you shan’t soon forget.” A bark of laughter escaped from Zoey’s mouth at that. “You ain’t getting away that easily. This is a formal challenge! You either accept, or I’m claiming my prize anyway!” There was a pause as Miguel considered what was being said, and then nodded curtly. “As you wish. Although, you shall soon regret not leaving when you had the chance.” Rolling her eyes at that, Zoey sauntered into the penthouse further. “Like I’ve never heard that before. Come on then, what’re the rules?” Miguel followed Zoey, considering the question for a moment. As the one who had been challenged, the laws of the mages dictated that he would decide the form of combat and what would happen to the other should they lose. Zoey had claimed her prize for winning the combat, but Miguel needed to state what he wanted. “If I win, then you become my servant for a week.” Miguel said eventually. “Anything I ask of you, you must obey, no matter what.” Zoey gave Miguel a Look. “You better be thinking about keeping your hands to yourself.” “I swear, by the power of Maqlû, I will not perform sexual acts upon you while you are under my household.” Miguel said, before smirking and adding. “Unless you ask me to, of course.” Zoey rolled her eyes, but took Miguel at his word. She had to, really. Swearing on Maqlû was one of the most serious things a mage could do. Breaking it put their very powers at risk. If Miguel did something against Zoey, he would become helpless before her. She nodded her assent. “Alright, not that I’m going to lose, but it seems like a low demand for what you’re risking.” “I feel as if a week-long lesson of humility would be worth all the treasures you might otherwise have offered me.” Having never really had much of a sense of humility at all, Zoey doubted that. Still, she focused on what was important. “Fine, what kind of combat are we looking at?” “Free for all. As long as you don’t destroy the surroundings, anything goes for both of us. And the fight ends when one of us surrenders to the other. Not a moment before.” “Deal.” Zoey said instantly. Those were fairly standard rules, aside from the non-destruction one. Then again, from how much Miguel must have been paying to stay in this place, it was understandable that he’d be rather concerned about letting it get damaged in anyway. “So, are you ready?” Miguel asked, raising a hand to invite Zoey into the large living room. “Always am.” Zoey shot back as she headed into the room, her head held high. It was certainly large enough for what they needed to do. A wide, open space with windows that looked out over the city. Although Miguel quickly waved his hand and the windows glimmered for a moment, showing that he had created an illusion spell. For anyone looking through the windows, they wouldn’t see anything but an empty room. Another wave of Miguel’s hand saw the furniture all pushed to one side, leaving the floor clear for them to have their battle on. That done, Miguel began to undo the top button of his shirt, then doing the same for his sleeves, allowing him much better movement for the battle ahead. “On the count of three, we begin.” Zoey grinned as she felt the familiar anticipation of battle surge through her. She was looking forward to this. “You got it.” “One…” Zoey got into a fighting stance as she readied herself for the battle. “Two…” A soft breeze could be felt crossing the room as the two faced each other, summoning their magical energies. “Three!” The fight was on. Zoey started, as she always did, with a rush forward into an attack. Lightning crackled over her body as she looked to take Miguel down hard. It was something that normally surprised her opponents, that she was willing to go hand-to-hand with them and not just rely on long-range spells, a factor she loved to take advantage of. With a fist covered with electrical power, Zoey raised it to punch Miguel and knock him down hard. He managed to escape by the slimmest of margins, his hair rising slightly as the static electricity got close to him. Another blow from Zoey saw her attack being deflected as Miguel managed to use his own spells, a strong gust of wind throwing Zoey off target, but she quickly rallied, more amused than annoyed. “Wind magic? That’s what you’re going to fight me with?” She called out. “It has its uses.” Miguel shot back. Zoey was unconvinced. Unless there was something very, very heavy about, wind magic couldn’t really harm her. At most, it’d just slow her down. “Not much use against this!” Zoey called out as she shot her hands forward, letting loose with a blast of lightning that was aimed directly at Miguel. Miguel pushed his hands down to the floor, boosting himself up into the air before the lightning could hit him. It instead struck the far wall, sparking as it dispersed harmlessly. Another blast from Zoe saw Miguel drop down, landing lightly as he managed to avoid the magical lightning once more. “Oh, you actually found a use for it.” Zoey called out. “Too bad it’s just running away.” “It’s enough to keep me in the fight.” “Not for long!” Zoey used her lightning powers against the floor, boosting her as she launched herself into the air and directly at Miguel, lashing out with her leg to kick at him. It wasn’t just magic that Zoey trained herself in, but she also regularly did yoga and self-defence, giving her plenty of strength and flexibility in a fight. It seemed as if Miguel was ready to match her in that department, however. The wind mage dodged to the side and blasted Zoey with a gust of wind, knocking her off balance and then crashing to the floor. Gritting her teeth, Zoey worked through the pain to quickly get to her feet, glaring at Miguel as he smirked smugly at her. She glared at him in response. That had been the first time anyone had gotten the better of her in a fight and it wasn’t an experience she enjoyed. “OK, slick move. But that’s all you’ll get.” Miguel merely twitched his fingers in a ‘bring it’ motion. That infuriated Zoey even more. She was the one who was supposed to do the taunting around here, damnit! Electricity surged up her arms as Zoey summoned more lightning to add extra power to her punches. “Think you’re funny? Well, by the end of this, you’re gonna be begging to hand over the rings. And that’s not all. I’m gonna humiliate you and let everyone know it.” “You can try.” That final bit of mockery set Zoey off and she ran at Miguel, her fists crackling with power as she looked to put the hurt to him properly. She was going to enjoy pounding that smug look off his face once and for all. That had been the plan, anyway. It went awry as Miguel used his magic to send a gust of wind from the side of the room. It wasn’t enough to knock Zoey off her feet, but it was enough to send a length of rope around her legs that quickly wrapped around them. Zoey stumbled as the rope went around her legs, soon leading her to tripping up as the wind caused it to tighten. Miguel’s control over his powers was such that he could have the rope move as if it was guided by his hands. “Hey! Knock that off!” Zoey cried out as the rope went around her legs, the wind tying it around her limbs and causing her to come to a halt as she struggled to keep her balance. “Hm… I don’t believe I shall.” Was Miguel’s response as he summoned another bout of wind that had another rope flying towards Zoey before she could react. Instinctively, Zoey brought up her arms to defend herself, which proved to be her undoing. The rope quickly wrapped around her arms, much like they had done her legs and yanked them down to her sides before finishing off by tying them tightly. Zoey didn’t know how to respond at first. She had never, never, been in a situation like this before. She had always been in command in her fights, never on the backfoot. Being trussed up like this was completely new for her and she had no idea what to do now. The confusion would allow Miguel to react quickly, taking full advantage of his position. He moved in towards Zoey, reaching out and then idly pushing her back. Despite her best efforts, it was too much for Zoey to be able to remain standing and she tottered backwards, landing on the ground with a thump. “And that, I believe, means I win.” Miguel said in a matter of fact tone. “Like Hell you do!” Zoey shot back hotly. “I’m not even done yet! Once I get out of these, I’m going to make you wish you were never born!” “Unlikely. Those ropes have a drain charm put on them. If you attempt to use magic, they’ll just drink it all in and keep you even more secure than before. You’re stuck.” Zoey really hoped that Miguel was bluffing, but a blast of lightning from her body confirmed it. The ropes glowed as the magic drained into them, leaving her stuck and with no way to use her magic to get out. Having held back and waited for Zoey to try and break out, Miguel chuckled as he saw her failed attempt. “Now is about the time you give in, I believe.” The thought of doing that, when the battle had hardly been anything worth the name, rankled Zoey even more. She struggled hard against the ropes, reasoning that, if she couldn’t use magic to get free, she’d just have to work her way through via another means. “I wouldn’t bother, you’re not going anywhere.” Miguel said after a few seconds of watching Zoey struggle. “You may as well just surrender.” “I won’t!” Zoey called out, her temper getting the better of her. She was furious, not only at Miguel for putting her in this position, but herself for allowing herself to fall into it. “Be reasonable. You’re trapped, unable to use your magic and the ropes are too well tied for you to get free. You can’t hope to win, not that you had much of a chance to begin with.” That added barb from Miguel really sent Zoey over the edge. She lunged up hard in a bid to get at him, but had to fall back down as she simply couldn’t break free from her bonds. “You think I’m going to go down to some weak, punk-ass wind mage? Once I’m out of these ropes, you’re gonna be sorry you ever tried this!” The threat washed over Miguel with no effect whatsoever. If anything, he seemed amused by it. “The only way you’re out of these ropes is if I let you. And that won’t happen until you surrender. And since you won’t do it of your own free will, guess I’ll have to force you.” A tiny spark of nervousness flickered within Zoey upon hearing that, but she quickly pushed it aside. “There’s nothing you can do to get me to give in.” She promised. Miguel smiled brightly. “Challenge accepted.” With that, Miguel brought his hands down onto Zoey, resting them on her sides as she braced herself, wondering what he was going to do to her. The rules they had agreed on clearly stated that everything goes, she just imagined that it would apply to her. So, the shock Zoey felt when Miguel dug his fingers into her sides as he began tickling her was sizeable, to put it lightly. “Gonna give in?” Miguel called out in a sing-song voice as his fingers lightly pinched Zoey’s sides, teasing her with light tickles. Zoey clenched her mouth shut while her face began to heat up with some embarrassment and plenty of anger. This was outright insulting, being helpless and tickled at the same time was so utterly childish that Zoey wanted to put the hurt on Miguel even worse than before. She felt the rage grow with each passing second. Yet, as angry as Zoey got, there was nothing she could actually do to prevent the tickling from taking place. The fingers pinching and probing her sides were consistent, not stopping for a moment as Miguel continued to tease her. She gritted her teeth together, determined not to let a single giggle escape from her lips. This resolve was tested further by Miguel continuing to tickle Zoey’s sides. Having met resistance with her trying not to laugh, he upped the ante by starting to dig in even harder and Zoey’s shirt didn’t offer anywhere near enough protection for her to try and block out the sensations. “Kootchy koo… You’re just a ticklish little thing, aren’t you?” A growl escaped from Zoey’s lips as she had to stop herself from giving him a sharp retort. She didn’t trust herself not to break out into a giggle or several if she opened her mouth. Instead, Zoey kept her mouth clamped shut, trying so very hard to stop her slips from twitching upwards, a hopeless prospect in all honesty. “Is someone smiling?” Miguel teased. “Is my little lightning mage going to giggle because she’s just a tickly little thing?” “Shuhuuutt uppppppp!!” Zoey shot back, her temper getting the best of her as she spoke and the giggled spilled out along with the words. “Hm… Nope! Tickle, tickle, tickle!” Miguel spread his fingers and then began to wriggle them right into Zoey’s flanks as the tickling suddenly got even worse. The lightning mage tried so hard to keep control of herself, but it was no use, she couldn’t keep quiet under the pressure of such an attack and her smile became etched on as the laughter soon followed. “Knnohohoocckkk eheheEHEHEEreettt oooofffff!!!” Ignoring the demand once again, Miguel skittered his fingers up and down Zoey’s sides. Now that she had broke out into laughter, there was no way for the young lightning mage to stop the forced mirth from leaving her body. She tried to clamp down her mouth once again, but the pressure was too much for her and it all just spilled out. Focusing on his advantage, Miguel’s tickling got more and more intense. With every second, Zoey’s laughter grew stronger and more wild. She hated it, she really did, but she had no choice. It made her feel so weak, but the tickling powered through all her defences and left her howling hysterically to Miguel’s touch. Not content with just this, Miguel began to explore more areas of Zoey’s body, sitting down on her thighs as he did so to make sure that she couldn’t escape from him. Now with a new vantage point, he looked towards her belly as another target, his fingers diving into her midriff and going all out. “Oh, a ticklish belly, huh?” That is good. But, I think it’d be better if you couldn’t squirm about so much.” Removing his hands from Zoey’s body, Miguel focused as he summoned his magic to him, the wind causing the area around him to be blasted as furniture was sent over his way. A chair and table, to be precise. They were lifted up and then placed in front of the duo, right where Miguel aimed them. “Now, for you, it’s time to get up!” With that, Miguel hoisted Zoey up, carrying her bridal style, much to her embarrassment. She tried to wiggle her way out of his arms, but she only had a few scant seconds before she was placed onto the chair, her feet also going onto the table. “This isn’t going to hold me!” Zoey cried out and yanked at her feet, only to find that they were stuck solid. “Spell of holding.” Miguel said, tapping the table and chair. “Keep you right where I want you for a long while. Speaking of which…” Pulling on the rope around Zoey’s body, Miguel loosened it enough to allow her arms to go free while still keeping it connected to her body. He grabbed a hold of one arm and yanked it back over the head of the chair, the charm in it then trapped her limb. The second arm soon followed and Zoey was trapped. Although her arms weren’t bound, the rope was still around her and drained her of her magic as she tried to blast the furniture to pieces. “Damnit! Let me go!” Zoey called out. “This is cheating!” Miguel smoked smugly at that. “We agreed that everything goes. This counts as everything.” “I swear, once I get out of this, I’m going to kick your ass so hard!” The fact that Miguel laughed at Zoey was the worst thing about this. She was so used to being strong, to being able to rile up her opponents and make them sorry for underestimating her. That he could dismiss her so easily was just salt to her wounds. “When you get out of this, you’ll have agreed to become my servant for a week, remember? Speaking of which, let’s see about that, shall we?” “No! Don’t you touch me! Get away, you freak!” Miguel happily ignored Zoey’s cries once more as his fingers made a beeline to her stretched out body. She watched helplessly as they got in close, fingers already wiggling in anticipation of their strike. “Where to tickle? Where to tickle?” Miguel asked as his fingers moved up and down over Zoey’s torso, mere inches from her body. “Back to the sides? Belly, perhaps? What about those ribs of yours?” Zoey couldn’t stop the smile from spreading over her face as she felt the teasing get worse. Miguel wasn’t even touching her and yet she was close to cracking up! Spluttering from the phantom tickles over her body, Zoey failed to keep herself together entirely. “Nohohoo! Getty ahahawaayyyy!!” “Oh, I know the perfect spot! Right about… HERE!” The shock from Miguel’s hands moving from just over Zoey's belly up to her underarms caught her completely off guard. The young mage barely had time to register what was happening before she felt the fingers wriggling about in her underarms and she let out an appropriately loud scream as a result. “NNOYOYOHOHOOOOOOOOO!!!” It was a low down, dirty trick that Miguel had pulled. Normally something Zoey would have performed herself. Having it used against her was particularly grating as the young mage had never liked the taste of her own medicine. Of course, the tickling was the absolute worst as well. With her arms stretched over the head of the chair, the sleeves of her T-shirt had slid down and exposed some of her armpits, leaving the skin itself vulnerable to some well placed tickles. All Miguel had to do was slide his fingers down the arms and the tickling could be felt intensely. Adding to this was how little Zoey could move. She was literally stuck to the chair and table, every inch that came into contact with one of those surfaces held her down with no escape. It made Zoey all the more sensitive to the tickling, knowing that she couldn’t do anything to get away from it. “Tickle, tickle in these underarms. You giving up yet?” If anything, Miguel’s taunts only increased Zoey’s resolve not to give in. She couldn’t allow herself to be beaten by this! Although the tickling in her armpits was unbearable, every scratch sending ticklish jolts through her body, Zoey tried her best to power through it. She may have laughed and screamed, but every one of those was punctuated by a curse at Miguel, showing that she was still defying him. Such defiance was met in turn by Miguel amping up the torture even more. He scratched away at those pits, making Zoey suffer for her arrogance and biting comments. Had she been able to, Zoey would have curled up into a ball and electrified herself as a defensive measure in order to escape from that horrific sensation, but movement and defence were both denied to her. Miguel wasn’t ready to show any mercy, anyway. He continued wriggling his fingers right in the middle of her smooth hollows, tickling constantly as Zoey screamed with laughter. Being unable to stop this, forced to laugh and laugh and laugh while he played with her body, it was infuriating. The ropes draining Zoey of her magic was another factor that was effective in breaking her down. Being denied actual magic was like taking a limb away. It was a fundamental part of who Zoey was and having it robbed from her was harrowing. Leaving her open to be tickled like this was simply an aspect of being unable to do her magic. “I asked, are you giving up yet?” Miguel’s question was punctuated by him driving his fingers right into the middle of Zoey’s armpits, drilling them in the centres in a tickly attack that left the young woman screaming. She was hysterical, suffering and defenceless, but she remained defiant. “SCREHHHEWWHHHEEWWWW YOUOHOHOOOUUU!!” The response from Miguel was an exasperated huff and, surprisingly enough, to actually stop the tickling. He pulled away from Zoey’s body and stood to one side, glaring down at her as she got her breath back and body under control, “You really are insisting on making this difficult, aren’t you?” Miguel asked, sounding more exasperated than anything. “About as much as you’re insisting on being an asshole!” Zoey shot back. Miguel rolled his eyes, all sense of humour gone at this point. “Look, you’ve lost, that much is obvious. Just give in and get it over with.” “I am NOT giving in to you!” Zoey shot back. After all that Miguel had done to her, that had simply increased her resolve more than anything else. Miguel shrugged, taking a step down Zoey’s body as his eyes were locked onto his next target. “Fine, have it your way. Guess I’ll just have to break you completely then.” Another retort was forming on Zoey’s lips when she saw where Miguel was heading and it stopped short. She had few memories of being tickled, but one that she had repressed was suddenly coming back to the front of her mind as she saw where Miguel was aiming for next. “H-Hey! Get away from those!” Zoey called out, realising too late that she had tipped her hand by her shout. “Hm?” Miguel asked, the humour seeping back into his voice, as well as some smugness. “You mean your feet?” Zoey blanched at hearing those words. Her feet were ticklish, unbearably so. She hated the thought of them being completely exposed in a situation like this, especially since she knew that Miguel was going to take full advantage of them. In fact, he had already begun. Miguel reached down and began to peel Zoey’s shoe from her left foot, taking his time and being careful with it as she was still pinned down to the table thanks to his magic. “Don’t touch my feet!” Zoey cried out, more desperate than demanding. “Why? Are you ticklish there?” Miguel asked, all smug false concern. “No! Just hate freaks like you getting close to me!” The excuse wouldn’t have passed water at the best of times. Right now, all it did was make Miguel snort as he began to slide Zoey’s shoe off her foot, exposing it. Zoey wiggled her toes as the shoe came loose in a doomed attempt to hold onto it, but it had been flung off without much effort. “Cute socks.” Miguel teased as he began to remove Zoey’s other shoe, taking a similar level of care with it. Zoey fumed. She had no idea that she would be seen without her shoes during this duel and her pink ankle socks with the frilly tops were something she had no wish to be seen by anyone in. Embarrassment welled up within her as Miguel was exactly the sort who would never let her forget this part in particular. Without much ceremony, Miguel removed the other shoe and tossed it aside, leaving Zoey stuck to the table as she was more vulnerable than ever, a fact that was reinforced as Miguel began removing her socks, tearing them off with a flourish. “Oh, cute feet.” Zoey hissed at the compliment. From anyone else, she might have accepted it with a smug smile. But from Miguel? It was just another dash of salt to the wound, even if it was completely true. Zoey’s feet were absolutely beautiful, no doubt about that. Size sevens with skin as soft as marshmallows. They showed every sign of great care and attention, with the black toenail polish put on delicately, never going onto the skin. Her small, bubbly toes curled up in anticipation of what was to come, but that was all that Zoey could do to defend herself. “Feet like this, I bet they’re just horribly ticklish as well…” “Don’t.” Zoey gasped, her nerve cracking. She could take anything else, absolutely anything. But being tickled on her feet? That was too much, even for her. Sensing weakness, Miguel began to bring a hand up towards Zoey’s feet, inching it agonisingly slowly towards her bare soles. “Don’t what?” He asked, obviously enjoying himself. “Don’t tickle my feet!” Zoey cried out, losing herself to panic too much to stop herself from blurting that out. “Hm… Nah.” Miguel replied before he brought hand down to Zoey’s foot and began scratching away at her heels. Zoey screamed. She went completely ballistic as the tickling hit her hard. Had she been able to, she would have wrenched herself free and fled from the room, pride be damned. Denied that, all she could do was sit and suffer from the foot tickling. And suffer Zoey did. Her feet were so soft and vulnerable, a slight breeze would have been enough to tickle them. Miguel’s fingers scrabbling over the heels, going from one to the other in rapid succession, was outright torture. She couldn’t pull her feet away or do anything that might have spared her the tickle torture. All she could do was take it. “NOHOHOHOO!! PLEHEHEHEEASSSEEE STOHOHOHOOOPPPP!!!” Zoey screamed, barely able to believe what she was saying. She had never begged for anything in her damn life, but those fingers on her feet had shattered her strength and pride completely. She was on the verge of being ready to give anything to make it stop. That is, if Miguel let her. “Oh? Should I stop tickling these feet? Or should I make it worse?” Miguel mused, as if asking himself. “You know what? Let’s make it worse!” Happily ignoring Zoey’s cry of anguish, Miguel brought his other hand to bare on the feet, now using both to tickle torture the trapped lightning mage. Zoey’s tormented screams grew even more intense by the second as she felt ten fingers scrabbling up and down her soles as Miguel went all out in his attack. It was so bad that Zoey couldn’t even make any reply to his words, she was simply laughing too hard. Not that she would have been able to make much sense of it herself. The tickling on her feet blasted through all her other senses, forcing her to focus on that and that alone. She wiggled her toes furiously, the only outlet she had and she didn’t even have control over that. Zoey was now acting on pure instinct to the tickling, having been robbed of everything else. The skin on her feet was under assault and she couldn’t do anything to stop it. Miguel seemed to be very good at this, as he flicked and scratched over different parts of the feet, getting increasingly loud reactions from every touch. “Tickle, tickle.” Miguel taunted as his fingers continued to explore Zoey’s feet. “Now, what would you say your worst spot on your feet is?” ‘All of them’ would probably have been the honest answer as it felt like every square inch on Zoey’s feet was in competition with the others to be as insanely sensitive as possible. Having moved up from Zoey’s heels, Miguel focused on her creamy soles, dragging his fingers up and down over them at a rapid rate. “Are you sorry you were so rude to me?” Miguel asked pointedly, raising his voice as he dug his fingers into the base of Zoey’s toes. She curled them up, but that didn’t defend the stems from being subjected to further tickling. Realising that there was only one way out of this, Zoey screamed out a response born of what little concentration she had left. “YEHEHEHEHHEEEEEESSSSS!!” “Well then, apologise.” “I’MMM SOOORREHEHEHEEEEEE!!! I’MMMM SOOHHOHOHOHO SOOOHOHOHOREHEEEEE!!” “Well, that’s a start.” Not satisfied with that, Miguel continued tickling Zoey’s feet, making her dance to his tune as she lost all sense of time and control. Far from the arrogant upstart she had been earlier, Zoey was ready to beg for forgiveness, to do whatever she could to make the torture end. The final straw came when Miguel figured out what spots on Zoey’s feet were the most ticklish, the most unbearably sensitive. The smooth, silks arches on both feet. A mere touch on them was enough to get her screams to reach the heavens. Feeling those fingers flick and scratch away at her arches was more than Zoey could bare, it was a torture that was enough to shatter her proud spirit completely. “PLELEHEHEHEASSEEEE!! IIIHIHIHII GIIHIHIHIVVEEEEE!!” “What’s that?” Miguel asked, as he scratched rapidly across the soles, going side to side at a swift pace. “You surrender already?” “YEHEHEHEEEESSSS!!! PLEEHHEHEEAASSSEEE STTOHOHOHOOOPPP!!” “Is it because you’re a giggly, silly girl?” That would have been a bridge too far, but Zoey didn’t care at this point. She was too ticklish to resist and just wanted it to end, even if she had to play along. “YEHEHEHEESSS!! I’M AHAHAHA GIIIGGGLEEHEHEEEE GGIIIRRRLLLL!! NOHOHOO MOREEE!!” That was enough for Miguel, who, thankfully, withdrew his hands from Zoey’s feet and stopped tickling her, having secured his victory. The sweet release was enough to almost make Zoey grateful that she wasn’t being subjected to the tickling anymore, but she still greatly resented it. She had been defeated. Not just defeated, but abjectly humiliated as well, just because she couldn’t take a little tickling. Even though Zoey knew that it was a weakness, she still hated herself for being susceptible to it. And now, Zoey had a full week of being Miguel’s servant to look forward to. No doubt he was going to get her to crawl and be as subservient as possible. Well, she wasn’t going to be like that. Zoey was going to drag her feet on every command. She was going to show him that she wasn’t truly beat, that she still had her strength, that she… that she… She was being untied? “OK, you’re free to go.” Miguel said, as he tapped the chair after removing the magic-draining rope from Zoey’s body and undid the charms on the furniture, allowing Zoey to move freely. “W-What?” Zoey asked. “I won. You can go.” It took a moment for Miguel’s dismissal of Zoey to really sink in, wondering if he really meant what he said. “B-But your prize… You–.” “Hm? Oh, you acting as my servant? Oh, I don’t really want that. You’d just be a complete pain to deal with in all honesty. I’d rather you just leave.” The sheer amount of disrespect made Zoey flush with anger and she opened her mouth to shoot back, but a pointed look from Miguel made her hesitate and then stop. After all she had just been though, another potential tickle torture session was something she had no wish of going through. “Ugh, fine. Didn’t even want those stupid rings anyway.” Standing up with what tiny shreds of dignity she could muster, Zoey grabbed onto her shoes and socks before heading towards the door, not even bothering to put them on first. She was eager to get out of this place and never come back if she could help it. It seemed as if Miguel was of a similar mindset as he didn’t even offer a mocking taunt for Zoey as she left the apartment, instead using his magic to open and shut the door behind her, leaving her alone outside in the corridor. Zoey stewed as she put on her shoes and socks. Just who did he think he was, treating her like that? Using his magic to trap her and then tickle her until she gave in? Asshole! Zoey began to think she should just go back in and start blasting with her lightning to get what she was owed. She quickly thought better of it, not wanting to risk another torture session like she had just endured. There were other ways to get the rings though, more subtle ways that Zoey certainly wasn’t above using. Zoey felt her spirits lift slightly as she tied her shoelaces and decided to leave the building, for now. She would get those rings, even if she had to go through less than honest ways to get them. That’d do it. Feeling better about things, Zoey resolved on coming back when Miguel wasn’t around.
