"Mum..." I say. She has tears in her eyes. "Mum, it's okay. I understand. This stupid custody...I'll come back when I get older. I prmise."
Mum nods. "Just...send a letter or something!" She sobs, hugging me. I hug her back.
I've always been, like, six inches taller than her. I'm five foot eleven and I have blonde hair and one brown eye and one blue eye for some weird reason.
"Boarding Group A will now be entering the plane now." The person says. Mum kisses my forehead and I give the man my ticket and enter the plane. I get a middle seat and sit down, and then get back up and put my large backpack in the shelves above everyone. I put my smaller backpack under the seat in front of me.
"Hi," An eleven or twelve year old girl says to me. "Is it alright if I sit here?"
"Oh...yeah. Of course." I get up and she goes to the window seat. A woman with a baby sits in the isle seat.
