On Objectification: A Poem Against FeminismNote: This poem may seem harsh, but since feminists are allowed to shame men for enjoying harmless entertainment that makes them happy, I don’t see why I should mince words. On Objectification: A Poem Against Feminism1 week ago in Free Verse More Like This
If a man complained,
Of romance novel heroes,
He’d be ignored and disdained,
For reading women’s prose.
So if feminists make a scene,
If they yell and fume,
About a comic heroine,
Or her sexy costume,
Or demand they make her fatter,
Who cares what they presume?
Why should it even matter?
But here’s the real paradox:
The weakest female leads,
The feminist never mocks,
For they’re in the books SHE reads.
Does Bella Swan,
To corporate power rise,
Or fight crime with brawn?
Or is she wooed by guys,
Merely acted upon?
Every romance novel cover,
A woman semi nude,
In the arms of her lover,
Submissive to a dude.
I’m not calling her a liar,
But when her own self-insert,
Gets all the male desire,
It doesn’t seem to hurt.
But when she’s outcompeted for attention,

This is a response I wrote to the inquiring minds on the
"Why I need Feminism" poem. **Featured here on Devaintart..
Judging by the original poem and some of the interesting replies to it..
It seems that a lot of people don't actually follow Feminism.
IE: You all ask the question:
How can people "hate" feminism, when it stands for equal rights?
It's sad to say, but Feminism isn't about equal rights.. well, unless you're just
a coffee shop feminist or taking it at the value of only ONE of it's definitions.
If you actually read the books and watch the interviews with the women in charge
of your movement. Then you'll see Feminism for what it actually is and what it promotes.
IE: They believe in the Patriarchy, which not only labels men as "the pro

Yesterday somebody on Facebook showed me an extremely well referenced piece of satire that conclusively demonstrated that feminism fights for gender equality on both fronts.
He was right.
For men, the rise of feminism has elevated us from second-class status. Equality and fairness have become part of our everyday lives. In the following argument, I won’t simply assume that certain things are the way they are because of feminism. I will actually demonstrate how feminism was the causal factor that influenced the situation.
Because of feminism, you will never see men who were sexually assaulted by women outright dismissed as objects of a joke in a satirical newspaper article. Long gone are those days! Everybody knows now that men get raped by women, to

We do not need bigotry or intolerance. We don't need to promulgate the notion that one sex matters more than the other, or that every personal slight is a result of sexism or a failure to understand the opposite sex. Men are not Martians and women weren't raised in the toxic fumes of Venus, although our brains and bodies are shaped from the embryonic stage by differing hormonal gradients.
We need to look at a world that thinks of "effeminate" as a slur and say, this is not a thing to stand for. We need to ask why women can buy boyfriend-cut clothing from designer brands, but a man in a skirt needs to explain himself. Why women and men are equally likely to coauthor studies with same-sex peers, but women are far less likely to collaborate with underlings.
We live in a world where a woman who works is neglecting her children and a stay at home man is lazy. Women never rescue the man in a Bollywood movie, never defeat the bad guy without help. Actresse
Feminism took the incentive awayIn the past, marriage at a young age was much more desireable for men and women. But as feminism and the Sexual Revolution came sweeping in, the incentive to marry has been taken away, for the most part.Feminism took the incentive away3 weeks ago in Personal More Like This
We all know how women can now make money for themselves and have careers. Not only can they have careers for themselves, they can also have sex with whomever they want with no strings attached, as men can. Okay.
Because women have been making their own money and having sex with whomever they please, men no longer have a real incentive to get married, except maybe if they want children.
So whenever I hear women getting disgruntled about men being "immature" or "not committing," I think to myself, "you took the incentive away when you wanted a career and had sex with whomever you want."
I'm not slut-shaming at all. I'm simply stating that sex was part of the reason men married in the past. Now because of the Sexual Revolution, you don't have to be married to have sex anymore. Men and wom

Steve x Reader If That’s What It Means
Steve was at a loss. He had just “done an Internet”, and after getting bored of the news and Google, he decided to sift through some bookmarks his wife had saved. She was an avid Internet user, so he wasn’t all that surprised to find about a couple dozen bookmarks and favorited pages on her desktop. Needless to say, he was quite entertained for the five hours (Name) had left for the “short” business meeting.
At first it was just a bunch of funny YouTube videos, some parodies on the Avengers with cats or videos of fox puppies and red pandas, but after a while he came across a very interestingly named bookmark under the name of Tumblr.
Or more specifically: “feminism | Tumblr”.
While Steve was about 70 years older than most people, he still had a decent understanding of the feminist movement, and from what he remembered it as, it was a great opportunity for women to make a lot more of themselves back i

I don't know what the fuck I need to do to get noticed with this but I would risk my life for it.
...Probably not, actually, nevermind.
See, as an adolescent male I probably don't know the full story of feminism today but I know about the workplace deficiencies and the 'abuse' and such that women are going through, and, yeah, I sympathize with that.
But to show my thinking on the subject I think I need to bring up the SINGLE most eligible person on the topic.
Isaac Newton said that every action will be met with an equal and opposite reaction. And feminism is quite an action. In my opinion, while women might have the short end of the stick on many an occasion, I think that men have problems too that are being overlooked for the sole purpose of feminism being such a huge movement, and I've seen many complaints about this in recent years of interneting.
All in all, it comes down to gender stereotypes, and to where I fit NONE of them, so I have a rat
A short word aboot FeminismFeminism is basically "humanism". Women wants to be treated as men are being treated, which in this day and age, they are not; If we take two doctors of the same grade, one being male and the other being female, the female doctor barely even earns 50% of the wages the male doctor does, even if she does a better job and that is what ACTUAL feminism is about. Trying to make so that this isn't a thing and they both earn the same.A short word aboot Feminism1 month ago in Personal More Like This
If one would make a more accurate name for it, it would be "equalism", as that is what the goal is. The goal is to make everyone, both male and female, treated as equals. The only reason it is called "feminism" is because when feminism started out, women were barely even treated as humans and even today, women are only being treated borderline humane. It had originally nothing to do with pushing men down or making women superior. That view is just a corruption of what feminism actually is.
I am a feminist, because I am a man and I want my sisters, girlfriend and
I need feminism because fckn look at the frontpageJust fucking look at it. And not today only, this is valid for about any day in this site. Everyday, scrolling down the frontpage i'm blessed with at least 7 pictures of tits and ass. It's gotten so extreme the attention it gets, girls are practising borderline prostitution via comissions, which DA is seriously NOT THE PLACE to do that. I'm not bashing prostitution, but why don't you do it in a camgirls site for example, not in a art site where daily artists everywhere are struggling to get in the frontpage and you're hogging that spot with a photo that has no intention of being artistic.I need feminism because fckn look at the frontpage2 weeks ago in Personal More Like This
This only solidifies the idea that women are mere objects for men to enjoy looking at and fapping to. Call me when an attractive female artist gets more pageviews for using her talents in producing artistic content than if she were to show off her tits on camera.
